HP is holding a showcase technology event this week in Las Vegas, Discover 2011, that combines several previous customer events. It promises to bring together the people, technology, and ideas to solve the difficult enterprise challenges.
The keynote speech just completed with HP CEO Leo Apotheker touting the cloud as the most disruptive force since the advent of the personal computer and HP agile enough to capitalize on these changes. With handheld devices like the WebOS-loaded HP TouchPad tablet, coming this Summer…

For the everything in between, HP shows the enterprise dashboard for CIOs and the HP IT Performance Suite of software to benchmark IT performance for the “Instant-On Enterprise”.
Clearly, HP’s business model is embracing the challenges and new industries before us by betting big on converged infrastructures.
