Fox News Twitter Account Hacked – Falsely Announces Obama Assassinated
The verified Twitter account of @foxnewspolitics has been apparently hacked and tweeted 8 hours ago that USA President Barack Obama was assasinated. The tweets are still up at the moment saying:
Just regained full access to our Twitter and email. Happy 4th
@BarackObama has just passed. The President is dead. A sad 4th of July, indeed. President Barack Obama is dead
@BarackObama has just passed. Nearly 45 minutes ago, he was shot twice in the lower pelvic area and in the neck; shooter unknown. Bled out
@BarackObama shot twice at a Ross’ restaurant in Iowa while campaigning. RIP Obama, best regards to the Obama family.

While it is a federal holiday, I’m surprised this much time has passed that neither Fox News or Twitter has not removed the false tweets. I’m sure the Secret Service is not taking this news lightly.
