The Google Mobile Blog tells us today that Google Goggles has been updated. The Android and iPhone app that allows you to search the web by taking pictures has been updated today to be faster and smarter. For example, you could snap a picture of something like a can of Pepsi with Google Goggles and it would come up with search results for Pepsi.
The new features with the latest update of Goggles, version 1.3, allows faster scanning of barcodes for a product search. It has also been improved to have better recognition for print ads in magazines and newspapers.
The most exciting new feature of Google Goggles 1.3 is its ability to solve Sudoku puzzles. With a clear shot of the puzzle, should you get stuck, Goggles will return the solved puzzle. Check out this video for a demo:
