Disqus is one of a few companies that have worked on perfecting the system of commenting on the web. While most CMS software comes with a basic commenting system, these other companies have been able to take it further, integrate with social media, and giving people identities on the web instead of just silos on each site. With the launch of Disqus 2012, the features have only gotten better.
I implemented Disqus as part of my site update to combat blog spam comments. It’s worked great with that aspect, filtering spam, providing a great moderation interface, and off-loading server processing. I enabled the Disqus 2012 features yesterday for 404 Tech Support.
