ReNamer – rename files by the boatload

2008-05-20 by Jason

ReNamer is a very powerful and flexible file renaming tool, which offers all the standard renaming procedures, including prefixes, suffixes, replacements, case changes, as well as removing contents of brackets, adding number sequences, changing file extensions, etc. For advanced users, there is a PascalScript rule, which let users program their very own renaming rule. Dokuwiki – A wiki back-end for whatever you need

2008-05-19 by Jason

Part of a series where I'll be investigating different infrastructures to support a small, but rapidly growing Knowledge Base, Dokuwiki has certainly been a breeze to setup and configure. FAQs are going the way of the past. They only highlight the frequently asked questions. We all know there are plenty … [Read more...]

I'm usually not all about jumping into the Beta scene because it's always a cost-benefit analysis of new features versus stability. RC1 is stable but a few of my add-ons don't work yet (Foxmarks and TabMixPlus are the big ones). Overall, I have to really say that this is a worthwhile … [Read more...]
