AuditMyPC provides a free service with their website to:
- Test your firewall for open ports
- Show you the information your browser is transmitting
- Put your browser/popup blocking software to the test with all types of popups
All TCP and UDP ports, just a range of ports, or a specific port can be tested to see if they are open and visible to the world with the firewall test.
The anonymous surfing test will tell you what information your browser is transmitting: Your IP address, browser version, hostname, and more. (Here’s another site that discusses your browser transmitting your history and guesses your gender off of the sites you’ve visited.)
The popup blocker test throws the different forms of popups on the web today at you and sees if your pop-up blocker or browser can block them. (Firefox 3 succeeded.)
