ThreatExpert

The ThreatExpert site has a few components that might be of some interest to those curious about malicious computer threats. Their blog is very good at explaining new forms of threats like click-jacking, flash exploits, and cracking attempts. Along with all the articles on their blog, they also host a “dictionary” of malicious threats so that you can look up everything from adware, hijackers, keyloggers, rootkits, trojans, worms and more with the formal name and a short description of their behavior.

This site would be helpful for identifying what malware a machine is infected with based on its symptoms, keeping apprised of the latest threats, and submitting malicious files you have found.

A worm already exploiting what the recent out-of-cycle Microsoft patches (MS08-067) is also well-documented, explaining this zero-day attack.
