What Does It Do?
First off, all the features and functionalities of the Super Shield are available for the all paid licenses only. In other words, Super Shield isn’t available on the free version.
This is an additional protection component that offers your system real-time protection against the suspicious software on your system (malware). It uses an automated global whitelist, which allows it to stop all the unknown and bad programs/applications from running on your computer. This way, it will keep your system secure from all the unwanted attacks.
It will also remove unwanted applications from your computer. Once it has detected the applications that are not on the whitelist, it will quarantine them accordingly.
How To Activate/Install Super Shield
The first thing that you’ll need to do is to install the antivirus on your computer. Here, you will obviously need to purchase the PC Matic antivirus. Keep in mind that going for the free version will offer you limited functionalities. Plus, it won’t give you access to the Super Shield feature.
But first, you should read a detailed PC Matic review to learn more about the antivirus before you proceed to purchase it. Once you are sure about it, you can buy it and install it on your computer.
After installing the antivirus, your computer will automatically be protected from the malware. But you will need to click on the Scan tab to find any unwanted program. The antivirus will crawl over your computer and detect any suspicious malware. After the scanning is done, you’ll need to click on FIX ALL to remove all the threats.
However, you’ll still need to install Super Shield. To do so, open the antivirus and click on the Options icon. After that, click on the Super Shield tab, followed by the red Install button. It would take around five minutes (or more) to install Super Shield.

Super Shield Report

Furthermore, you can view the Report by clicking a green shield icon that is located in the middle of the dashboard.
From the list of application, you will find a green icon on the left. This icon indicates that the file is safe to have on your computer. Plus, it shows that the antivirus allowed it to run. However, if there is a yellow icon, it means that the application is unknown and unblocked by the antivirus. On the other hand, if the icon is red, it indicates that the application is bad or was blocked by the antivirus.

Whitelisting
This is not exactly a feature of Super Shield, but it is more of functionality. Suppose there is a blocked application but you trust it, you can decide to whitelist it manually.
To override Super Shield, you will need to click on the Super Shield icon on the System Tray. After that, hover over the Protection Level, followed by Block Notification Method, and then click on Prompt for Override. Once the Prompt for Override option is switched to On, try launching any program. From there, a pop-up window will appear. You will need to choose Always Allow to grant it launching approval in the future.
Super Shield Options
You can adjust the Super Shield settings according to how you wish. Changing the settings will determine how you prefer the protection method. Do this by clicking the Super Shield icon in your system tray at the bottom right corner of the desktop. You can expand the window to give you an easy time adjusting the settings.
From there, you can adjust the Super Shield protection by hovering over the protection level of your choice. Generally, you can either go for the Industry Standard or the Super Shield Protection level. With the Super Shield Protection level, it uses proactive whitelist-based protection. This is the most recommended level.
Here, you can also override Super Shield protection and whitelist an application that you trust but is blocked by the antivirus feature. However, you will need to be extra careful when overriding Super Shield protection. You should only grant manual access to applications that you trust.
