In a TEDTalk today, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, provided a video of his concept for The Boring Company. The video shows Musk’s idea, which he came up with while trapped in traffic, to have cars enter a series of underground tunnels to travel where they need to go over 100 MPH on sleds.
In the video, the Tesla enters the tunnel from a street entrance and descends to the tunnel system below where the sled continues to take the car on its ways to its destination.
Musk hatched the idea while sitting in LA traffic back in December.
