Microsoft Office’s presence in the enterprise is undeniable and proficiency in Office products could help you land some jobs. We have previously shared Microsoft’s Quick Start guides. Now, you can use a new resource from Microsoft to track your progress in learning the different products including Office 365, Excel 2016, Outlook 2016, PowerPoint 2016, Word 2016, and Access 2016.
The roadmaps are PDFs (or available as Visio drawings) that you can use as a checklist to proceed in your learning a product. The steps on the map include understanding the product and performing specific tasks such as checking the word count in your document. You can click on each step for a video (with Transcript) to explain the task. The videos take advantage of Microsoft’s acquisition of LinkedIn with LinkedIn Learning, which incorporates the benefits from their previous acquisition of the training site Lynda.com.
