18 days until Black Friday and retailers are full steam ahead

If you are looking forward to starting the holiday shopping season after Thanksgiving with some deals, you are not alone. The retailers are even more excited than you are. In particular, some tech-related retailers are working on building that hype up further. This round-up should help you plan your Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping for others and creating your own holiday wish list.

PayPal released its predictions which show technology will transform the holiday experience, including the shopping. Surveying different groups they found people will shop with their mobile devices from the dinner table, while binge-watching TV, from bed, or even from the toilet.

BlackFriday.fm made predictions for retailer promotions in the 2016 top retailers. Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, Target, Toys R Us, and Kohl’s each have predictions on when the deals can be expected and what the top items will be (4K TVs, laptops, smartphones, appliances, game consoles, electronics, and toys seem to be the top picks.).

NewEgg is launching Black November to have month-long deals at www.newegg.com/BlackNovember. Some of the events include:

November 1-7: Black November kick-off sale with deep discounts on hundreds of items across all 60+ product categories
November 8-14: Black November gaming sale featuring great prices on gaming notebooks, components and accessories
November 15-21: Pre-Black Friday sale with a broad sampling of Black November deals and discounts
November 21-26: Newegg’s Black Friday Week kicks off November 21 with hundreds of new deals unlocked every two days, with the deepest discounts reserved for November 25 & 26
November 27-30: This year Newegg stretches Cyber Monday into a four-day event, with hundreds of deals unlocked November 27 & 28, plus an extended sale featuring fresh discounts and other promotions November 29 & 30

Office Depot is offering early Black Friday deals in stores and online. Starting October 30th and running through November 26th, many different deals were listed in the press release including laptops, printers, and accessories.

Dell announced rolling Black Friday (Nov. 24-25) and Cyber Monday (Nov. 28) deals on Dell laptops, desktops, all-in-ones, gaming PCs, 2-in-1s, and monitors.

Best Buy released their Top Tech of 2016 to help make Christmas wish lists. A closer look at the top 20 helps you understand why things like the Google Home, Bose QuietComfort 35, Dyson SuperSonic hair dryer, Oculus Rift, Sony PlayStation VR, GoPro Hero5 Black, and other devices are generating so much interest.

Last but not least, Amazon always seems to break the mold with Black Friday, and without lining up in the cold at 3am! Amazon’s Countdown to Black Friday Deals Week is in full swing. Deals will be taking place until we get to November 20th and Black Friday week ups the ante to bring even more and better deals with Prime exclusive offerings through Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
