Ultimate Ears, a Logitech company, introduced the UE Roll 2 today. This is the successor to the previously reviewed UE Roll.
The UE Roll 2 is a bluetooth speaker with a 3D disk shape. It is IPX 7 waterproof for up to 30 minutes and 1 meter deep. It even comes with a small inner tube to attach the speaker and let it float alongside in the pool. The speaker still features the bungee cord loop to allow for plenty of ways to attach the speaker. The update brings 15% louder sound and a longer wireless range of 100 feet. The built-in battery is rechargeable and allows for 9 hours of playback.
The UE Roll 2 is available in 6 colors: Habanero, Tropical Anime, Volcano, Atmosphere, Sugarplum and Reef. (Not that those are names of colors.) Sugarplum is pictured above while Habanero is my favorite.
