Crytek announced VR FIRST today, an initiative to provide state-of-the-art facilities to those researching the potential of virtual reality. Crytek is best known for their Crysis game series and CRYENGINE, the engine that powers Crysis. These labs on university campuses will be provided with CRYENGINE source code and VR headsets and machines from hardware partners.
