Those outfits they’re wearing are called “bunny suits,” and they wear them not to protect themselves, but to protect the microprocessors from contaminants. Here’s a historic look at their evolution since their debut in 1973.

Of course, they skipped over the most well known suits – the brightly colored BunnyPeople from the Intel Pentium II commercials. There were even stuffed dolls and other novelties made of these colorful technicians!
