Adobe updates Creative Cloud for 2014, Ink and Slide hardware now available

Last year, when Adobe announced they were moving to Adobe Creative Cloud, they also showed off some hardware they were working on. Project Mighty and Project Napoleon were a stylus and ruler combo for the tablet world. Along with updates across the board to Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe’s hardware is now available with new names: Adobe Ink & Slide.

Adobe Creative Cloud

The cloud model means more continuous updates and, as a subscriber, always having the latest version. You can watch the keynote from yesterday’s address or some of the Adobe product blogs have all of the details:

You can see more about the product updates, the new mobile apps, and new plans from Adobe’s Creative Cloud site.

Adobe Ink & Slide

Project Mighty and Project Napoleon have become Adobe Ink and Adobe Slide, a precision stylus and ruler/straight-edge. Ink and Slide require 4th generation iPad, iPad Air, iPad Mini, or iPad Mini with Retina display.

To help explain its new hardware, Adobe has a Learn and Support site to show how to make the most of Ink and Slide.

Adobe’s creative hardware can be bought for $199 through Adobe’s partnership with Adonit. You can learn more about the hardware or buy it from Adobe’s Ink & Slide page.
