DevManView, a Device Manager alternative

When it comes to utilities for Windows, there are always the one-off development of tools by individuals but two mainstays have been the SysInternals suite and NirSoft tools. Calling special attention to one utility today, I wanted to share about DevManView. It is an alternative Device Manager than the built-in utility under Computer Management.

DevManView uses a a flat list instead of the tree structure that Device Manager uses. It supports Windows 2000 to Windows 7 with a separate 64-bit version of the utility for the x64 Windows. DevManView can be used remotely to look at another computer similar to Device Manager as long as you have admin rights on the remote computer.

Other features from DevManView include command-line options and the ability to save the list of devices to a variety of formats.

If Device Manager is too many clicks or you prefer the listed view over the tree view, check out DevManView as a simple but useful utility, particularly if you prefer to work with the command line.
