Bitcoin is a digital cryptocurrency and it has increased in popularity with time. I wrote an introduction to it back in March 2011 and one of its stumbles in June of the same year. Despite those bumps in the road and still challenges that lie in front of it, Bitcoin has continued to grow in use and discussion.
