Bring Your Own Device can certainly lead to management problems. It is supposed to make both sides happy. The company spends less on devices and end users get the device they want. Unfortunately, IT gets stuck in the middle trying to support a variety of makes and models. To keep things manageable, a strong BYOD policy is necessary. This comic from Phil Johnson just goes to serve as a reminder that you shouldn’t leave that policy up for interpretation.
