Indie Video Games are covered in this PBS Off Book episode. It interviews Indie game developers to get their insights. Some of it comes off as kind of pompous with the attitude that “Indie games can do no wrong.” Unfortunately, that’s not true as Indie games can flop just like mainstream games. The trend is that usually only successful indie games get mainstream recognition and mention. Regardless, indie games do cover more genres and experiment more with the medium, usually at affordable prices and a good game is a good game.
