The Amazon.com homepage has received a face lift. It makes it a little less cluttered while showing more information. Speculation says that the redesign was secondary to making the site more mobile friendly for their upcoming Kindle tablet.

The roll-out seems to be moving in phases. I’m not seeing the new design across all my computers or all browsers. Now that the process has started, it will probably be only a little while until the new design is universal.
