Google Puts A Physics-Based Game On YouTube To Promote The Nexus S Phone

YouTube might be getting into the web gaming business if we can take anything away from this Nexus Contraptions game, beyond the fun time. The object of the game is to use the various contraptions around the lab to get the core apps like Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, and YouTube into the Nexus S phone.

Fighting or using gravity, collisions, friction, and other physics elements, you bounce, roll, or blow the ball into the funnels to eventually get to the phone. In the first stage, you’ll have stretched rubber bands and a fan at your disposal to guide the app where it needs to go.

Like so… The fan blows the ball over the edge, the ball lands and bounces off the rubber band, off the other rubber band, and into the red funnel.

Can you figure out the puzzles and get the best time for the stage?

Ironically, I can load the Flash game in my Android’s browser but can’t play it (dragging the contraptions pans the page). You’ll have to stick with the desktop to play Nexus Contraptions.
