Lammer Context Menu – Perfection In A Right-Click

I recently formatted my hard drive (installed Windows 7 to replace Windows Server 2008) and the process sent me scrambling for a few of the things I had forgotten to document for installation on the new system. One of those things I forgot was the Lammer Context Menu. I had grown so accustomed to it being there, I completely forgot to include it but quickly realized how inconvenienced I was without it. There are a ton of context menu utilities out there, I’ve even mentioned some Context Menu editing, but once I found the Lammer Context Menu I stopped looking because it provided me with everything I needed.

The Lammer Context Menu, free, adds only a single line to your context menu but offers a wide range of tools, some of which change with what you’re right-clicking on. Some highlights of the functionalities I use frequently:

The Context Menu is also customizable, which allows you to remove those functions you don’t use frequently. There are also a few hidden gems like registering .dll files, which can come in handy in the Sys Admin realm.

Check out the Lammer Context Menu if it sounds like it would put some convenient functions at your fingertips.
