The season of giving doesn’t have to end with Christmas. You can donate to your favorite nonprofit organizations year-round through eBay and a site called MissionFish.
eBay has a program called eBay Giving Works. It allows you to Donate 10-100% of a sale on eBay to a nonprofit organization, browse listings that support nonprofits, or donate to a nonprofit using PayPal.
MissionFish enables and connects eBay to the nonprofits
The combination of our technology and nonprofit expertise, plus eBay’s active global community, forms the eBay Giving Works program. It allows sellers to give proceeds from their sales to a favorite nonprofit, and helps nonprofits raise funds by selling on eBay too. Nonprofits can also receive donations from eBay users through the Donate Now feature, which lets anyone with a PayPal account donate to nonprofits right away –without buying or selling anything.
You can certify your nonprofit with MissionFish to allow people to support your cause or if you’d just like to support a cause, you can find ways to contribute to these nonprofits through your sales on the MissionFish or the eBay Giving Works site. You can also browse the listings of items that will benefit nonprofits.
