DLSG / KIC Scanner re-reviewed

The DLSG team has made massive improvements, in my opinion, since my original dialog was composed.

I was contacted regarding an appointment for a time to upgrade. We scheduled a time at our combined convenience and I’m to receive an e-mail with a link so that I can download the setup file ahead of time.

Also in this new versions, previous settings are automatically migrated over. Everything went perfectly fine and in less than 5 minutes we were running the latest software configuration without any hassles. The install went through with all the defaults and there are no doubts that I could have handled it myself, but the fact that they offer said hand-holding doesn’t seem to hurt things.

Our scanner had another mechanical errors in between scheduling the upgrade and the appointment, so I just contacted the person and they had a loaner sent out immediately to us. Downtime was minimal and we had a working scanner up and running in no time. A much better experience this time around and their technical coordinator seems to be shaping things up to a great benefit to give them a better appeal instead of direct access to the engineers.
