Adobe Reader 9.1 and Acrobat 9.1 Vulnerable to Javascript Again!

Adobe, after recently patching Adobe Reader and Acrobat to 9.1, has announced that this version too is vulnerable to javascript induced buffer overflows. You can see their announcement here: http://www.adobe.com/support/security/advisories/apsa09-02.html

A patch is set to be deployed May 12th.

I stand by my original assessment. You’re best off just disabling javascript in your PDF reader.
