Another Frewaregenius article is up under my name, this time I discuss VMWare Server in length. I’ve been looking for a replacement for Microsoft’s Hyper-V that came with Windows Server 2008 after it consumed a lot of resources, slowed down startup and shutdown times, and caused performance glitches related to video and audio. VMWare Server seems to be the one I was looking for with two strong points: It’s from the VMWare name and it’s free.
